Dotfrms was founded by Brian Piggott, who grew up on a multigenerational Michigan farm and later spent more than 20 years working in cybersecurity, healthcare technology, government systems, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation.

Brian's background gives Dotfrms a unique foundation. He understands the real-world needs of farms, families, small businesses, and local communities. He also understands the technical challenges of cybersecurity, identity, systems, data, trust, and digital transformation.

Dotfrms was created from the belief that real people and small businesses deserve stronger control over their digital presence. Farms, creators, and local businesses should not have to rely only on large social media companies, marketplaces, or confusing technology systems to be found, trusted, and supported online.
